Aruba Lunch and Snorkel Half-Day Cruise

Who doesŒænot want to spend half the day on Aruba’s gorgeous turquoise waters?ŒæThis 4 hour sail includes snorkel gear, 3 snorkel spots; Antilla Shipwreck and two shallow bays and a Caribbean lunch buffet & open bar with cocktails, soda’s & juices.Œæ

Sit back and relax on the sunning nets or build in benches on board our custom build catamaran and enjoy a refreshment or cocktail while sailing along the coastline as we set sail to our first stop, MalmokξBay.ξξMalmok a nice shallow area ideal for those who have not snorkeled in a long time. You will have the opportunity to get used to your snorkel equipment while viewing lots of colorful fish and corals in their growing stages.

Then onto the Antilla Ship Wreck, one of Aruba’s most famous snorkeling spots. The wreck is 400 ft. (122 meters) long and sits in 60 ft. (18 meters) of water but the wreck begins 10 ft below sea level making it an unique snorkel spot. When the Germans invaded Holland during World War ll, this German freighter was scuttled by its Captain on purpose to avoid confiscation by the Dutch in Aruba. The wreck is now surrounded with colorful fish and corals. Fish include: The Parrot Fish, Barracudas, Fresh Angel Fish, Yellow Tail Snapper, Grunt, Blue Tang, Butterfly Fish, Green Moray , Puffer Fish, Sergeant Mayor, Southern Stingray, Queen Flounder, Stoplight Parrotfish and Trumpet Fish.

Last stop is Catalina bay another shallow bay where you can jump in, slide or use the stairs to go in the water and swim, cool off and snorkel before lunch is served. Lunch menu (subject to change) consists of salad, rice, pasta (vegetarian), fish, chicken breast and a piece of cake as dessert. In the morning we serve a fresh fruit skewer and a local cheese turnover snack.ξ
After lunch and snorkel/ swimming time we set sail back to the pier.ξ

Note: Sequence of sops and location of snorkel stops are subject to change.ξ

The catamaran features two marine bathrooms, two sunning nets, build in benches, a slide, sound-system and a fully stocked bar. A special swimming ladder makes it easy for passengers to step into the water.ξ
