Carnival Vista

Cruising has experienced huge growth over the last few years. Many brands introduced their new ships and there have been new brands that joined the industry for the first time. One of the recent highlights is the unveiling of Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas which is the largest ship at sea. Also, there have been other highlights including the unveiling of Viking River Cruises which expanded their footprint to include ocean-going vessels and Carnival which built the Vista ship that is equipped with an IMAX theatre and operational brewery.

Carnival debuted their first ship, the Carnival Breeze in 2012. The Vista is the first ship to be unveiled by Carnival since 2012 and is the first in Carnival’s new Vista-class series. The Vista ship is quite unique in its own way and is different from other ships is several key ways. One of its differentiating factors is the fact that it is one of the additional outdoor seating space. There are several restaurants like Bonsai Sushi and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse that offer tables outside, thus the guests are able to enjoy alfresco dining outside in the warm Caribbean climate.

Additionally, the ship has introduced new activities that are ideal for both adults and kids. Guests can enjoy activities like the SkyRide, which is an elevated bike track whereby guest pedal themselves high about the deck, there is an IMAX theatre which is the first at sea and shows films all day long.

The ship also features spacious Havana Suites and Family Harbour Staterooms which are all-new at sea. A combination of all these features and the additional outdoor activities is true evidence of Carnival’s continued effort to offer a cruising experience that is full of fun at an affordable cost. Everyone has something to love and enjoy about cruising in the Vista. For instance, if you love being highly active throughout the day, you can spend your time zipping around the SportSquare or even get into the waterpack on deck 12.  For those who want a lovely and quiet space to enjoy cocktails and other drinks, there are several places for that.

The Cabins

The Vista has 1,967 staterooms, most of which have ocean views. These are available in different varieties including Havana Staterooms and Suites, all-new Family Harbour Stateroom and Suites and Cloud 9 Spa Staterooms and Suites. Each room features its own amenities and aesthetics. The Family Harbour rooms are located near the Family Harbour Lounge, where there is 24-hour access to an exclusive area for dining, games, watching films and a concierge service.

The Cuisine

The Vista is great in the food that it offers. Everything revolving around food, The Vista has its all including buffets, speciality restaurants like Jiji Asian Kitchen, gorgeous dining rooms and fun-filled poolside cafes. The restaurants offer outdoor seating options on the ship, something that is really loved by the guests who love enjoying their meals while still enjoying the beautiful Caribbean weather.

The Brewery

The Vista has a very notable feature, the brewery. Many of the beers are brewed on the ship. You can sip a variety of favourites or even try the new varieties designed with the collaboration with several brewers available on the ship.
