Introduction
Pronto Las Vegas is owned by Giada De Laurentiis, a celebrated chef, author and television personality. This is actually her second restaurant and is located at Caesar’s Palace. Guests can enjoy De Laurentiis’ signature Italian fare which has some California influences in a fast and casual format.
At the restaurant, there are different meals of the day that are offered including breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the meals are made of the freshest ingredients and are prepared in an abbreviated time, thus guest on the go or those looking for a leisurely meal are all catered for. There are various seating options available at the Pronto which range from the counter and bar seating to casual lounging.
Breakfast offerings such as home-made pastries which feature traditional and unconventional flavours including Italian cornetti as well as sandwiches and made-to-order smoothies.
Lunch and dinner options may include salads, De Laurentiis’ twist on sandwiches with a lobster roll and gooey grilled cheese, fresh pressed Paninis, salumi platters, antipasti and formaggi.
Pronto also offers a great dessert selection in the form a perfect combination of light and decadent with gelato and sorbetto in both known and Giada-fied flavours. There are also some great lemon ricotta cookies by De Laurentiis and a selection of gorgeous cakes that are sold by the slice.
The Weekend Brunch
Pronto offers the weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday. Just pop in and sit at the Giada’s table and enjoy unlimited orders from numerous trips to the self-service small bites, dessert stations, cappuccino, espresso and many other drinks that are offered at the Pronto.
Pronto Wine Bar
The Pronto offers more than 40 wines by the glass that feature 40 California-Italian wines which include some of De Laurentiis’ personal favourites and sample selection of exclusive wine flight menus. At the restaurant, you will want to try some of the signature cocktails that highlight De Laurentiis favourite flavours. There is also a selection of bar bites that you could use to pair your drinks with.
What to Try at The Pronto?
- Giada’s Signature Muffaletta
This is a giant sandwich and features a plethora of fresh ingredients. The sandwich originated from Italian immigrants who settled in New Orleans. It is very simple features meat, cheese, delicious bread and a zesty olive spread. Giada has made the sandwich classier by using some high-quality meat choices like the ham, mortadella and salami. She also uses fresh arugula and red onion which add more freshness to the sandwich.
- Giada’s Signature Arugula, Crispy Pancetta and Candied Lemon Salad.
This another of greats Giada’s signature that you want to enjoy at the Pronto. It is essentially pinwheel pancetta that is placed on top of a bed of peppery arugula and several other ingredients like candied lemon and greens.
- Giada’s Famous Lemon Ricotta Cookies
This can be described as Giada’s signature sweet showstopper. The cookies have some lemon and ricotta in the cakey base that simply dazzles the appearance of the cookie in every bite.
