1. Climb Mount Fuji
Mount Fuji is probably the most worldÕs famous volcano and is one of the most popular symbols of Japan. It is actually recognized as one of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Viewing is simply good, but for you to have that deep experience of the mountain, you would want to climb it. It is best to climb it from July to Mid-September.
2. Kyoto
Kyoto is one place in Japan you really canÕt afford to skip. Kyoto is an ancient city and was actually JapanÕs capital over a thousand years ago. The best thing about this city is that it has about 17 UNESCO World Heritage sites, which you can never get enough of their history. It is crowded with beautiful temples and shrines and restaurants where you can indulge in traditional Japanese cuisine.
3. Take a ride in the bullet train
Japan has a bullet train which is its high-speed train commonly known as a Shinkansen. It travels at an incredible 200 kilometres per hour and has been in operation for more than 50 years. Since its inception, the train has never had an accident or death and thatÕs why it is very popular across the globe for its safety. While on the train you can marvel at the beautiful scenery of Japan.
4. Go to a Hanami
Hanami is actually typical flower viewing under the trees whose cherry blossoms blue from the end of March to April. You can view the flowers at night with your friends while having a drink. Watching the flowers during the day with your family or friends having snacks is also great.
5. Visit the Itsukushima Shrine
Itsukushima Shrine is a registered UNESCO World Heritage site and is built above the surface of the water. It has a very beautiful look which makes an incredibly amazing place to take photos. Be sure to take photos which will build an amazing memory. In fact, thousands of tourists find their way here to take a picture of the shrine.
6. Hiroshima
Hiroshima is one of the most terrible chapters in human history. An atomic bomb was dropped and destroyed the city almost completely at the end of the Second World War. You can go to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum which has a great exposition that offers a feeling of the event that occurred toward the end of the Second World War.
7. Got to an Onsen
Onsen is Japanese for hot spring which are so many Japan. Virtually every village or town has one. One of the best places to go to an Onsen is Beppu since it has many hot springs. These hot springs form ÒThe HellsÓ, an amusement park in which you can actually take a volcanic sand bath. Going to an Onsen should definitely be on your list of things to do in Japan.
