Visit the birthplace of Eau de Cologne!

In 1709 the perfumer Farina created the most famous water in the world – Eau de Cologne. This classy perfume is still made today by the same family in the same house. In the 18th century no patent rights existed and many copycat versions of this perfume quickly came to being. Due to these incidents, Eau de Cologne is designated today as a perfume category.

The museum can only be visited within a guided tour. We have tours every day at every full hour, in various languages. All guided tours last approximately 45 minutes and have a limited capacity. Tickets can be bought on our website.
